THE TEMPLE BETWEEN WORLDS

Mary Magdalene, Nebet-Het, Heriu Renpet, and the collective initiation unfolding beneath one of the most extraordinary astrological thresholds of our lifetime.

𓆃

There are moments when the old world has already ended, but the new one has not yet begun.

They're uncomfortable.

Quiet.

Easy to mistake for uncertainty.

Yet every mystery school understood these thresholds.

They are not empty.

They are initiatory.

Places where life reorganises itself before it takes a new form.

It’s clear when I speak with our community and look around, that's exactly where we are now.

This week, the Feast Day of Mary Magdalene meets the closing nights of Ashadha Gupt Navratri. Soon, the Kemetic calendar enters Heriu Renpetβ€”the Five Days Upon the Year.

Five sacred days that belong to neither the old year nor the new.

Days that exist outside ordinary time.

Before Wep Ronpet, the Opening of the Year.

Before the return of Sopdet (Sirius).

Before the waters of the Nile announce another beginning.

I've been thinking about these days a lot lately.

Because they feel less like an ancient calendar...

...and more like the landscape of our collective psyche.

𓆃

We've just crossed one of the most significant astrological thresholds of our lifetime.

Within a remarkably short span, Pluto, Neptune, Saturn and Uranus have all entered new signs, initiating cycles that will shape humanity for decades to come.

These aren't fast-moving influences.

They are the architects of civilisation.

The planets that quietly reshape culture, consciousness, spirituality and the structures upon which societies are built.

What strikes me is that these new cycles are all settling around the fourth degree. In numerology, four speaks of foundations, structure and what endures. Whether symbolic or synchronistic, it feels as though entirely new foundations are being laid beneath our feet.

Most of us won't fully understand this moment until we're looking back on it.

But many of us can already feel it.

The old structures no longer hold.

The identities we've built our lives around are dissolving.

We're standing between worlds.

𓆃

A few nights ago, I watched one scorpion consume another on the bathroom wall.

I found myself witnessing a deeply profound integration.

One scorpion becoming the other.

Literally absorbing it until there was no longer an enemy outside itself.

I haven't been able to shake the image.

It felt like nature revealing the deeper work of this season.

Not defeating the shadow.

Integrating it.

Not exiling the parts of ourselves we've feared.

Becoming whole enough that nothing within us remains outside our own love.

𓆃

This is the realm ofNebet-Het (Nephtys).

Guardian of thresholds.

Keeper of twilight.

Protector of grief, dreams and the unseen spaces where transformation quietly unfolds.

Beside her stands Auset, who gathers what has been scattered and breathes life back into what has been forgotten.

Without Nebet-Het, Auset cannot resurrect Ausar.

One holds the sacred darkness.

The other restores life.

The mystery has always required both sisters.

Resurrection has never belonged to light alone.

𓆃

It is no coincidence that Mary Magdalene appears here too.

She remained at the tomb.

She stayed when others had already turned away.

She didn't rush the mystery or demand certainty.

She stood faithfully inside the threshold between death and resurrection until new life revealed itself.

Gupt Navratri carries another expression of this same archetype.

The hidden nights of the Goddess.

A time when the deepest practices are turned inward.

When what matters most cannot yet be seen.

These traditions are not the same.

Nor should they be.

Yet each remembers something our modern world easily forgets.

Every true beginning first passes through the unseen.

𓆃

In the Kemetic tradition, the Five Days Upon the Year commemorate the births of Ausar, Heru, Set, Auset and Nebet-Het.

Birth itself happens before the New Year begins.

Creation arrives before the calendar catches up.

I find that profoundly beautiful.

Perhaps that's where we are as a collective.

The new world is already gestating.

It simply hasn't crossed the horizon yet.

𓆃

Soon, Sopdet will rise before dawn.

Wep Ronpet will begin.

The Nile will remember its ancient cycle of flood.

Life will remember itself once again.

But first...

there is the threshold.

There is the sacred pause.

There is the temple between worlds.

𓆃

We now enter Leo season which invites us to embody what these hidden months have been quietly preparing.

To allow what has already been gestating in the darkness to step into the light.

I have a deep sense that what is being born through this descent will reshape the way we live, create and remember ourselves for decades to come.

The foundations are being laid.

The temple is already rising.

Most of it simply cannot be seen yet.

𓆃

"Every new world begins before anyone realises it has arrived.

The threshold is not the pause between stories.

It is where the next one is written."
