Illup is an award-winning herbalist and ceremonialist whose life has been devoted to the lotus flower as both teacher and medicine. Raised amidst wild yellow lotus in Ohio, he brings 20+ years of lineage herbalism and alchemical artistry to his work with Blue Lotus—designing elixirs, spagyric tinctures, and safe lotus ceremonies worldwide. Illup has been featured in Vogue, The New York Times, and has led ceremonies on beloved festival stages like Envision and Lucidity. At Sesen Temple, he anchors Blue Lotus ceremonial alchemy with reverence, healing, and cosmic remembrance.

Together, Illup and Sesen Temple have co-hosted workshops and ceremonies in Costa Rica & Tulum, and retreat in Egypt. We work with Illups products, and he is an avid supporter of our lotus regeneration efforts.

Phoebe is a visual alchemist who channels soul through film, photography, and ceremony. Her work spans Indigenous ceremonies, luxury sanctuaries, and wildlife havens, weaving authentic connection with heartfelt aesthetic. Rooted in ethical reciprocity, her fine art imagery honors ancestral wisdom—returning a portion of profit to Indigenous communities. Whether guiding self-love activation or capturing elemental moments, Phoebe holds space for deep healing and creative remembrance.

Much of the photo and video content on our website is the work of Phoebe, and we continue to weave and create together. Our vision is to create more narrative around the mission of Sesen Temple and in connection to the ancestral territory, people, culture and art.

MUSICIAN + CEREMONIALIST

Kailash Kokopelli is a sound medicine man, musician, and healer who works with sacred instruments, voice, and ceremony to open portals of transformation and remembrance. Bridging indigenous wisdom with universal sound codes, he guides people into deep states of purification, heart awakening, and cellular re-tuning. His offerings—rooted in prayer, music, and devotion—carry the frequency of unity and service, weaving the threads of ancestral traditions with contemporary healing for the regeneration of Earth and humanity.

PLANETARY GRID PROJECT

Deya Dova is a visionary vocalist and sound-weaver whose Planetary Grid Project records and performs music at sacred sites around the world, singing directly with the Earth’s energetic architecture. Through her voice and field recordings, she creates sonic offerings that reconnect listeners to the living planetary grid — the vortexes, ley lines, and ancient memory held in land, stone, and water.

In 2025, Deya spent time with Sesen Temple during her first-ever tour to Egypt, supporting sacred grid work and helping to call in the new temple space on its consecrated land. Her presence wove the global Earth-grid frequencies with Sesen’s emerging vision, amplifying a shared intention of remembrance, regeneration, and planetary awakening - reminding us to listen deeply to the land first.

Anouck sees in Creation a way to dive into the unlimited potential of Being. A leap into the great tapestry, allowing ourselves to be seeded by the Divine. Devoting her path to the miracle of Beauty as a medicine for the Soul, she helps to explore our inner landscapes, where Grace and Poetry never died and remind our true Nature. Through primordial techniques and symbols, multi faceted creative expressions, as well as the ancient technology of mythologies, let our sacred essence, weave and remind us who we Art. Anouck was present at the first Blue Lotus planting on Heissa Island and returned to facilitate her art focused workshops during our 2024 retreat. She is based in Corfu, Greece and we have began weaving the lotus consciousness and hope to represent Sesen Temple at Colibri Spirit Festival.

ACADEMY OF ORACLE ARTS

Isis Indriya is a cultural activist, ritualist, and educator dedicated to the remembrance of ancestral wisdom and the renewal of earth-based traditions. Of mixed Indo-Caribbean heritage, she bridges lineages through ceremony, mystery school teachings, and community organizing. She is the founder of the Academy of Oracle Arts in Nevada City, a learning temple devoted to oracular traditions, divination, cosmology, and sacred sciences.

Isis Indriya visited Tarek & Therese on Heissa Island in 2024, and returns in 2025 to incorporate the presence of the Sesen Lotus and Wisdom Teachings of Tarek Asela with their annual Egypt pilgrimage.

Joey McCune is a ceremonial guide and sound healer who creates and holds transformational portals for leaders, lightworkers, and seekers. Through her projects — SoundHealingTulum and Sakred Journeys — she guides small groups through embodied initiations drawn from the teachings of Ancient Egypt, Maya, Bali, and Peru, witnessing real-time activation and lasting shift. Joey’s work is not about attracting clients or wealth; it is about amplifying gifts, strengthening voice, and training those called to lead so their impact ripples outward to families and communities. She holds these fields with humility, integrity, and devotion — believing that those who answer the call have already been chosen — and that these journeys move people from dim to bright, leaving a clear before and after.

BLUE LOTUS ECOLODGE

Hashim Morsy and Yana Yaneva are stewards and caretakers of the Blue Lotus on Heissa Island. Hashim is the visionary and architect of the Blue Lotus Ecolodge, and Yana has been leading meditation initiatives in Egypt for many years. Together, they have paved a path for groups like ours to land on sacred territory.

Hashim and Tarek have formed an alliance over the years and support each others work on Heisssa Island.

Sesen Temple has been hosting events at Blue Lotus Ecolodge since 2023.
