OMETEPE : ELEMENTAL AWAKENING

Elemental Awakening is a ceremonial retreat held on the sacred island of Ometepe, where fire and water, earth and sky, masculine and feminine currents meet in living balance. Guided by the March Equinox, this gathering invites you into a deep threshold moment—a time of offering, recalibration, and remembrance.

Ometepe is an island of origin stories. Formed by twin volcanoes rising from Lake Nicaragua, it holds one of the greatest concentrations of petroglyphs in Central America—ancient markings etched by hands that understood the language of the elements, the stars, and the cycles of life. During our time together, we will walk these sacred lands, connect with the petroglyphs as living portals, and listen for the wisdom still encoded within stone.

The Equinox is a moment of perfect balance, when day and night stand equal. It is an ancient time for making offerings—to the land, the waters, the ancestors, and the unseen forces that sustain life. Through guided ceremony, ritual movement, prayer, and intentional offerings, we will honor this liminal gateway and align ourselves with the new cycle being born.

Blue Lotus will accompany us as a sacred ally and teacher throughout the retreat. Revered across ancient civilizations for its ability to open the heart, quiet the mind, and bridge worlds, the lotus will support inner journeying, visionary states, and deep communion with the island’s spirit. In intentional ceremonial space, we will work with this plant to remember subtle ways of seeing, feeling, and listening.

Through ceremony, nature immersion, shared ritual, and rest, you are invited to shed old skins and reawaken the parts of you that remember how to walk in reverence with the Earth.
