Ancient Remembrance 2025 Pilgrimage

SESEN 2025 — ANCIENT REMEMBRANCE

A Message to Our Community

Beloved Sesen family,

It’s been one full moon cycle since we opened our annual Ancient Remembrance pilgrimage in Egypt, and we felt a burning desire to share some of the lessons and themes surfacing in Egypt this year, especially throughout this potent moon cycle holding the energy of the 11/11 portal.

This year was noted by so many pilgrimage leads as the busiest moment in Egypt they have known to date! We simultaneously had more groups dialled in and gridding new light into the temple system than we have ever known our lifetime. Helping to anchor our prayer field this year was Kailash Kokopelli and we also had the opportunity to weave with a powerhouse of a divine channel - Deya Dova - in her first ever trip to Egypt which culminated with a guest appearance at Sesen, and an extended stay with Tarek and Therese on Heissa island. Let’s just say this year is a call for big celebration in Egypt and many things are shifting in our favor!

Our 2025 pilgrimage unfolded in Aswan—the womb of the ancient Kemetic temple system—held from the outset by the quiet yet unmistakable presence of Sesheta - the female consort to Djehuti (Toth). As the ancient scribe of cosmic architecture, she stood as the overarching guide of this year’s journey—just as she appeared on our pilgrimage invitation—reminding us that we were not merely remembering our ancient stories, but participating in the collective scribing of a whole new timeline for the Earth.

Within this field, 22 souls gathered to walk a path of remembrance laid by the ancestors, and very quickly the key messengers and Neteru began revealing themselves, coding the pilgrimage with precision. From the opening plant-elixir ceremony held by Giselle, Vilina & Therese, Het-Heru (Hathor) emerged to bring the group in attunement to divine light as one, in unity consciousness, as one organism. A hive consciousness awakened almost instantly, guided by the presence of the Bee —a symbol and teaching that emerged repeatedly. It reminded us that strength and clarity arise through coherence, unity, and the grace of moving as a single body, devoted to the divine feminine current.

Alongside this hum of collective intelligence, the energy of Cat made itself known from the very beginning—an elegant current carrying the dual teachings of Sekhmet and Ptah, where fierce transformation meets conscious creation. As the pilgrimage unfolded, Heru (Horus) and Het-Heru (Hathor) wove through the experience, especially at Edfu and Dendera, illuminating the deeper architecture of Divine Union—within the self, between beloveds, and throughout the collective field.

Held by these messengers and guided by Sesheta’s steady hand, the journey became a living initiation. What follows is a reflection of the ten defining moments that shaped this year’s Ancient Remembrance.

TOP 10 MOMENTS FROM SESEN 2025 ANCIENT REMEMBRANCE

1. Divine Unions & Vow Renewal on the Nile

Our container was anchored by five couples holding the frequency of devotion throughout the journey. A defining moment unfolded as Jordan and Jonathan, our very first pilgrims to register, renewed their vows while sailing the Nile. Their devotion set a harmonic tone for the entire pilgrimage—an embodied echo of Horus and Hathor’s union at Edfu and Dendera, where the sacred masculine and feminine meet in balance.

2. Kailash Kokopelli’s 11/11 Sound Gateway & Temple Dance by Justina

Kailash Kokopelli opened multidimensional doorways with the ancient breath of his instruments, accompanied by Vilina, Sol & Therese, while Justina carried prayer through movement in a field of timeless resonance. The group softened into deeper remembrance as sound and embodiment wove a single strand of prayer across the room.

3. Planting Blue Lotus in Lake Nasser

What began as a vision from Therese became a living offering to the waters. Downstream of the dam, the riverbed shifts too dramatically for Blue Lotus to root—yet in the calm expanse of Lake Nasser, the Lotus found its home. This planting completed an arc left open in 2023 at Kalabsha Temple and was sealed by Kailash’s prayer flute echoing across the water toward Sudan. The Lotus, set free.

4. 11/11 Sunset Activation with Deya Dova

On the new land of Tarek and Therese, Deya Dova opened the songline at sunset, calling the ancient memory of the Earth into the field. The activation felt like Sesheta herself inscribing the new grids through us. As the drumbeats rose, Tarek joined with Australian clap sticks, and a living orchestra of sound, land, light, and people merged into a single crystalline pulse.

5. Sunrise Ecstatic Dance on the Nile with Kanyini & Zai Ra

At dawn on the Nile, with cacao from Ometepe, honey, Oil of Gold, Uluru water, and Blue Lotus, we entered an embodied prayer guided by Kanyini (our artist-scholarship recipient) and Zai Ra. The river, sky, and temple of morning became one as we crossed the threshold of 11/11 through movement and devotion.

6. Opening Ceremony with Giselle and Sesen team

Before stepping fully into the pilgrimage, Giselle held a sacred Ancient Egyptian plant-elixir ceremony that attuned the entire field in crystalline geometry. Sound portals were shared by Vilina & Therese. It bonded the group instantly, preparing the vessel with precision and clarity for the initiations to come.

7. Private Ceremony Inside an Original Temple of Isis

In the untouched sanctuary of Isis—the rare temple still in its original location—we were granted the privilege of a private activation. Here, Vilina guided a weaving of the women’s and men’s circles into one unified field, held within the pure, undisturbed energetics of the temple.

8. Sol’s Rainbow-Light Initiation

Early in the journey, Sol entered a profound inner initiation, seeing rainbow light around objects and eventually experiencing temporary loss of sight. She traversed a multi-day upgrade mid-retreat, highlighting the importance of the hive’s capacity to pick up the pieces and continue holding the sacred field. When her vision returned, and her song re-entered the space, we all grew from the code of this deep transmission.

9. New Lotus Pond in the Nubian Village

Through the support of our pilgrimage and a generous contribution from SourceCode888, we planted the largest Lotus pond on the island. Set on the ancestral land of Tarek’s grandmother Hamissa, a healer tied to the water spirit, the pond stands as a living offering for the community and a continued remembrance of the Blue Lotus lineage.

10. Rainbow Lotus Ceremony with Ilup

Our journey culminated in a full-spectrum Lotus immersion led by Illup, each color a frequency and each frequency a prayer. The field rose into a harmonic of unity, appreciation, and heart-to-heart recognition—a blessing of coherence and unity.

A Closing Weave

Through every ceremony, temple, and moment of devotion, the teachings aligned with the core principles of Sesen Temple: unity, coherence, devotion, remembrance, embodied service, and the courage to bring light into the places that call for it—whether the tranquil waters of Lake Nasser or the chaotic corridors of Kom Ombo.

We moved as a hive.
We listened as one.
We carried the field together.
This is the medicine of the Bee, the heartbeat of this lineage, and the architecture of Sesen Temple.

Our gratitude extends to Tarek, Therese, Vilina, Sol, Phoebe, Kailash, Ilup and to Blue Lotus Ecolodge, our Nubian family, the sacred boat crew, and the ancestors whose initiatory map made this pilgrimage possible.

The new story is being written.
The new grids of Sesheta are awakening.
And each of us—near or far—is part of this unfolding.

With devotion from the ever-living Nile,
The Sesen Temple Team
